This article navigates through the features available in the Podcast category in Revma.com.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Set up your Podcast

To get started, navigate into account level>podcasts and click on “Add Podcast” at the top right of your screen. You will have the option to create a new podcast or to import one from a URL.

Importing a podcast from a URL will give you an option to Insert the RSS feed url of that podcast, which in this case will already be generated from the service in which the podcast has been created.

Creating a new podcast will direct you to a page where all the new podcast’s details can be filled. A few fields are mandatory, among which the cover image, which is required to be in a specific range of format and size.

After the podcast is created, you will enter the podcast’s management page, which contains 3 categories: Episodes, Tools, Settings.

Episodes

This is where you can upload new episodes and view the already existing ones. To upload a new episode, simply click on the “Upload Episode” option at the top right.

You can either drag & drop the episode file on the specified field or browse from your computer. After the content is selected, click on “Upload” for the content to start uploading.

After the content is uploaded, fill the episode’s details in the provided brackets and save the episode. Once the episode is saved, you can edit or delete it at any time.

Tools

In this section you can find the RSS Feed URL of your Podcast. You can copy and paste it in the podcast directory  of your choice (i.e. apple podcasts).

Settings

In this section you can edit any of the podcast descriptions you filled or left blank upon the podcast creation (i.e. title, categories etc.)

Podcast Analytics

In the podcast section of your account, you will also be able to get detailed reports through the Analytics pane. You will first need to choose the Period of time included in the report and the Podcast. If the Podcast option is left empty, the report that will generate will be for all podcasts. At first you will see two boxes representing the total downloads and the total traffic in GB.

A Graph will follow showing the downloads per day (the x-axis will represent the dates and the y-axis the number of downloads).

Finally, the Table at the end of the Analytics page, will show the downloads and the traffic per 1. day or 2. episode. This table can also be exported as a CSV or PDF file.
